JOIN US for a celebration of our community partners and their support throughout the year.
This is a great opportunity to bring family and colleagues together and allow TOA to show our appreciation - while enjoying a FUN day of local baseball!
Each year, corporate partners play key roles in our work - providing key funding for our programs, making connections in their own communities to spread our mission, building our TOA family one step at a time. The Sea Dogs are here to help us say thank you and to celebrate the local businesses and community leaders that make up our vast network of supporters.
Join us, and let's start building stronger communities, together.
This family-friendly event will include:
a pregame on-field ceremony recognizing key partners
an all-you-can-eat buffet lunch of classic ballpark fare
an action packed game vs. the Binghamton Rumble Ponies
up close and personal meet and greet with Slugger

and more!
This event is open to EVERYONE, including the general public.

2023 HonoreeS
Over the past 25 years, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care has become one of TOA's most substantial supporters. Committed to our programs since 1998, Harvard Pilgrim's support has made an incredible impact on TOA.
Harvard Pilgrim and its family of companies provide health benefit plans, programs, and services to more than 3 million customers in New England and beyond. In 2022 alone, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and its parent company Point32Health pledged over $865,000 to support Maine communities - from projects such as food insecurity to gaps in culturally responsive immigrant mental health supports. We are proud of our partnership and look forward to continuing to work with Harvard Pilgrim Health Care for years to come.
Few charitable organizations are more revered in the communities they serve than the John T. Gorman Foundation, which has been supporting Maine’s most vulnerable populations since 1995.
At The Opportunity Alliance, the foundation is known ubiquitously as “JTG” because of their nearly 20 years of support of TOA programs. Since 2004, the John T. Gorman Foundation has donated over $1 million towards multiple TOA initiatives including senior volunteer programs, heating assistance, homelessness prevention, residential treatment facilities, and children’s outpatient care. In addition to their support, TOA is grateful that the John T Gorman Foundation has been a true thought partner in the agency’s work and has played a critical role in building TOA’s capacity for data-driven, effective programming.
Colette Twigg-Rowse
Nonprofits hope to have capable and kind leaders like Colette Twigg-Rowse. Since 2014, Colette has led The Opportunity Alliance on its Board of Directors, and most recently as its Chair, tactfully helping the agency navigate the pandemic. In addition to Colette’s leadership, she and her husband Rob have generously donated their time and treasures to help advocate for and support TOA’s mission.
Colette’s term on the Board recently ended, but we know she will play an integral role in the agency for years to come. Fellow board members and the staff at TOA feel incredibly lucky to have worked with Colette.
