Combination Program/
Early Head Start (EHS)


 

Who is eligible? 

  • Families with children between the ages of one and 3 years that meet income guidelines are eligible. 

What is the Early Head Start Combination Program ? 

  • This program combines the home-based and childcare models described above.

  • Children attend the center two days per week and also participate in two family visits each month with their child’s teacher.

Where is the program offered? 

When are visits and classroom time? 

  • Family visits occur two times a month at a time convenient for the family.

  • Classroom time is every Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30AM-2:15PM year-round.

What is the cost to participate?

  • The program is FREE for eligible families. 

Are Interpreters provided?

  • Interpreters are available as needed at no cost to the family.
